Today's Devotion

My Bible Verse:
1 Peter 4:9-10 - Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.

Natalie's mother was cleaning their house before guests arrived for a party. "Why do you always clean before people come over, mom?" Natalie asked. "Well, sweetie, I want to make our guests comfortable, and they will be more comfortable in a clean house." The Bible tells us to be hospitable to one another. We wouldn't invite Jesus to our house and not offer Him food or a place to sit, would we? We should treat each other just like we would treat Jesus.

My Prayer:
Prayer: Dear God, help us to remember to treat other people like we would treat you. Help us to be hospitable to each other, for your sake. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
