Today's Devotion

My Bible Verse:
And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Acts 2:21

"What's the magic word?" Have you heard that before? You might've heard it when you were asking for something. And you learned that saying "please" was a polite and proper way to ask. A guard on sentry duty may ask someone for the "password" when approaching. Yes, certain words can be very important to make things happen. When we want God to hear our prayers of praise and thanks; or to ask for His help and presence, there is a key word. And that word is the name of His Son, Jesus, the Christ, our savior from sin and death.

My Prayer:
Prayer: Heavenly Father, it is so comforting to know that the death and resurrection of Christ assures that You will always hear our prayers. In Jesus' name. Amen.
